OAuth2.0 is an open authorization protocol, which allows accessing the resources of the resource owner by enabling the client applications on HTTP services such as Facebook, GitHub, etc. It allows sharing of resources stored on one site to another site without using their credentials. Go to the Automation Connections tab and click Create New Connection. Name your connection, select the location of the connection, and select the third party application you are connecting to, such as Okta. Choose your existing application credentials, or click Create a New Credential from within the dropdown.

To register an OAuth Client open your dashboard then click the Create a new OAuth client button. For the purpose of simply making requests, set the Client grant type to Client Credentials.
